St. Zachary's Haven was inspired by our founders' son Ryan. Ryan was a beautiful soul and had a heart of gold. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, and do anything outdoors. He always had a special place in his heart to help those who were vulnerable to the harsh words and actions of others, as he knew what that felt like.
Due to his addiction, his life was cut way too short.
In memory of Ryan, St. Zachary's Haven will be a place for residents to find the power of prayer through God and in nature's healing, as Ryan would have thrived in a place like this.
Through this healing farm, we know Ryan lives on as an angel of acceptance, change & hope.

Transitioning from treatment programs back into their day-to-day lives can often prove challenging for those seeking sobriety and a new direction. St. Zachary's Haven is a non-profit, faith-based, and sober living residential farm offering residents free support and life skills through participation in activities that connect them to nature. Whether working in the gardens, working with animals or learning to paint, the time spent here will be a reinvigorating experience.
Research has shown that a connection with nature can emotionally and psychologically restore us and improve our well-being. St. Zachary's Haven is a farm focused on our residents' healing, through the therapeutic nature of putting their hands in the dirt and connecting with the earth.
Our vision is to provide professionally guided programming, such as:
- Healing through exercise, recreation, farm work, art, wood working, music, and more
- Community meetings and individual holistic support
- Group sessions around prayer, meditation and mindfulness, trauma and relationship health, family meetings, community support, and more
- Lifestyle and career guidance
