  • Who do we accept?
    Ages 25+


  • What are the criteria to be considered in recovery?
    Individuals must currently be in remission from substance use for at least 4-8 weeks. St. Zachary’s Haven only focuses on substance use disorders. WE ARE NOT A TREATMENT CENTER. 


  • Do you need a background check?
    Yes. If you are contacted to schedule an interview/assessment, you will be instructed to bring your County background check issued within the last 30 days to the interview. 


  • Are there any criminal charges/convictions you do not accept?
    All criminal history will be considered on an individual and case-by-case basis, though to ensure the safety of our residents, we generally do not consider individuals who have been convicted of sexual or violent crimes absent a demonstration of rehabilitation or other mitigating circumstances.


  • Do you drug screen?
    Yes. You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening to be accepted for the program. We conduct drug/alcohol screenings upon admission, randomly, and post-accident.


  • Do you allow smoking, vaping, or the use of any type of tobacco products?
    NO TOBACCO OR VAPING PRODUCTS are allowed on any premises at the farm.  Smoking cessation patches are permitted.


  • What is the length of stay?
    6 to 12 months


  • How many residents are in your program?
    We allow up to 14 residents in the program at a time.


  • What are the physical capability requirements?
    Individuals must have no serious medical conditions, be able to walk long distances, lift up to 20-40 pounds, including bending and kneeling, able to climb steep steps several times a day, and be able to participate in many different types of physical exercises. We make reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities. Please contact admissions@stzacharyshaven.com to request such an accommodation. 


  • Do we accept residents on MAT (Medication Assistance Treatment)?                                                                                          St. Zachary’s Haven does not have the ability to accept daily MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) at this time.
